Configmaker polls the device and creates a config file based on what it
finds. Indexmaker makes an HTML file that links to the what will be created
when that config file is "run".

Subject: [mrtg] cfgmaker and indexmaker
Another question for all of you in the know:
Please tell me the basic difference (or differences)
between indexmaker and cfgmaker. Don't they both work
on the same file, the mrtg.cfg file? cfgmaker creates
the original mrtg.cfg file and indexmaker updates it
somehow or does indexmaker override the mrtg.cfg file?
Thanks!
Jo
