[mrtg] Slight annoyance with ImageDir

I have set up my MRTG config with all logs and html under /var/mrtg (the
directory that the webserver sees as /mrtg) and subdirs for each type of
device being monitored - routers, switches, Unix servers and (soon)
Windoze servers.

I wished to avoid having copies of (or links to) the images in all these
places so I looked at putting these into /var/mrtg/images and setting
ImageDir to /var/mrtg/images.

Unfortunately WorkDir overrides ImageDir so that setting gets ignored.
Is there a way around this (slight) annoyance other than having images
all over the shop?
