[mrtg] Re: 6509 OID and MRTG error

I'm sure the OID is correct as it works when I poll the switch with GetIf. Someone else also tried my config on their 6509 and it worked so I guess it's a version bug/issue.

The switch is running 5.3(1a)CSX.

In fact I've just tried the same on our lab 6509 running 6.1 and it works fine, time to upgrade the productions switches :-(

We have a 6509 here so I thought as an exercise I would set it up and
see if I got the same error.  Using your example (and my naming
conventions and community string, etc) I got it working first time,
although the data is fairly meaningless as this switch is less than
idling.  :-)

As the data is an integer the graph gets a bit bumpy (generally the
current value is zero and the peak value 1.)  Are you sure that you have
the right OID (I haven't looked at any description of the MIB to find
out)?
