[mrtg] OID question

Dear All,
The below object ID's are for incoming and outgoing traffic for a Cisco
router 
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.1 & 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16.1 (Pls correct me if Iam
wrong)

Now the point I want to clarify is ,  Does the last digit correspond to the
interface ID? If yes then 
1 corresponds to ethernet interface 1/0
2 corresponds to ethernet interface 1/1
3 corresponds to serial interface 1/0 ... and so on.....

Is that the way the OID's go on or I am getting it wrong.
