Gents on Redhat 9 unless you need UTF-8 and in my experience
if you dont know what it means and all the redhat dialogs
on the redhat config scripts are goobly gook..

This is the Answer.

Edit this File.

(Fred)[/etc/sysconfig]root# cat i18n
LANG="en_US.UTF-8"
SUPPORTED="en_US.UTF-8:en_US:en"
SYSFONT="latarcyrheb-sun16"

and change the LANG = to .

(Fred)[/etc/sysconfig]root# cat i18n
LANG="C"
SUPPORTED="en_US.UTF-8:en_US:en"
SYSFONT="latarcyrheb-sun16"

Then reboot.

Every dialog I have found has been fixed and especially
mrtg.
