[mrtg] Problems with SNMP v2c

[Kathryn_Montgomery/Smart_Link/US]

I'm trying to change our mrtg configuration from v1 to v2c.  I've added 
the change to the configuration file (the :::::2c), but when I run mrtg, 
I'm getting an error message saying that it doesn't evaluate to defined 
data, so the files are not being updated.
Any suggestions?
