How exactly would I 'pass' these variables to the batch file? Thanks very
much. We don't use OV like most people, mainly just for SNMP trap receiving
and alerting. We don't even run the main portion of NNM, just the Event
Viewer. Thanks again.

In Openview, if you passed $a $b $c into the batch file, your batch should
use %1 %2 %3 to represent the first, second and thrid variable parsed into
it...

Jason,
This is a question better answered on the OV Forum, but from the Event
Correlation Menu if you call a script you can pass that script any variable
available from NNM.
I suggest that you load the Mail::Sendmail Module in to Perl and use it
to send your event message. The Sendmail module will allow you set the sent
time.
If you want further OV help contact me directly or join OVForum.org or
NMSUsers.org.
Regards,
Pete
