[mrtg] rrdtool not updating

My RRDtool quit running here is the error message
 
 
Number found where operator expected at
C:\mrtg\wwwroot\172.16.1.60_hs1_0.3.rrd
line 1, near "RRD"
syntax error at C:\mrtg\wwwroot\172.16.1.60_hs1_0.3.rrd line 1, near
"RRD"
Unrecognized character \xC7 at C:\mrtg\wwwroot\172.16.1.60_hs1_0.3.rrd
line 1.
 
Any help would be appreciated.
