[mrtg] Example of problem

Here's an example of the problem I detailed earlier (running latest mrtg/rrdtool)

This configuration generates a valid graph on my previous installation running MRTG 2.9.29 and RRDTool 1.0.35.

Options[test]: growright,bits,nopercent
Directory[test]: test
Target[test]: 3:public at router + 4:public at router
Maxbytes[test]: 4194304
Title[test]: Traffic Analysis for ip - customer
Supress[test]: y
Extension[test]: html
PageTop[test]: <font face="tahoma" size="3"><B>Traffic Analysis for customer</b> - ip</font><font face="tahoma" size="2">
RouterUptime[test]: public at router

On my current installation, running MRTG 2.0.11 and RRDTool 1.0.45, I get no data. mrtg.log shows:

2003-12-10 08:39:43 -- ERROR: Target[67.52.2.41][_IN_] ' $target->[0]{$mode}  +  $target->[1]{$mode} ' (warn): Use of uninitialized value in addition (+) at (eval 6) line 1.
2003-12-10 08:39:43 -- ERROR: Target[67.52.2.41][_OUT_] ' $target->[0]{$mode}  +  $target->[1]{$mode} ' (warn): Use of uninitialized value in addition (+) at (eval 7) line 1.

At first, I thought maybe the + didn't work in the same fashion in a later version of MRTG. The configuration reference still shows to do it in this manner though.

The only strange thing is that if I try to graph ONLY (no other graphs at all for the router) 3:public at router, it seems to work (I left it running overnight while I went home, and came back to a green graph.)

I have a lot more things I'm trying to graph, that previously worked, that also generate errors in the log. I can also get values for them using snmpget.

Been screwing with this for 2 days, so would appreciate any insight into the problem.
