Try ntop. Hook up a linux box that is spanned to the same vlan
where you want to listen for traffic if you don't have nbar, netflow or cflowd.

then write scripte that can telnet to router or use syslog server for logs
then fetch logs and display anywhere mrtg can one of them :)
