[mrtg] interface name

I've read it before in the mailinglist , but i cannot find it !
 
I want to change the interface names of my switches, now they are displayed
as 1 , 2 and so one. Not very much information!
I want to give them the name of the connected network part. 
Is there an option for cfgmaker to specify different names for the
interfaces ?
