[mrtg] Exporting mrtg database

I am looking for a tool to export the MRTG database (or selected polled
elements thereof) to a CSV file. I need to be able to script this from an at
or cron job, as we cannot ask staff to do it manually. I've looked at Steve
Shipway's routers.cgi script, but this needs interaction, and with 90 pages
of Perl, it's a tall order to edit it to suit, especially as I'm a
networker, not a Perl programmer.

Does anyone know of any other tools out there which would do the job?
