[mrtg] rrd tool question

I know this is the MRTG list, but since the two kind of go hand in hand I 
thought I would throw this out there.  I am getting the following error 
reported form MRTG/RRD tool...

Compilation failed in require at /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mrtg line 160.
Can't load '/usr/local/rrdtool/lib/perl//auto/RRDs/RRDs.so' for module RRDs: 
/usr/local/rrdtool/lib/perl//auto/RRDs/RRDs.so:
undefined symbol: PL_sv_undef at 
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/DynaLoader.pm line 229.
at /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mrtg line 160

Any thoughts?
