Hi Paulo,

I take it, you have installed Perl 5.6.1.633.

Your RRDTool package (rrdtool-1.0.40.x86distr.zip5.8) indicate, you have got
the one for Perl 5.8

Get the one for 5.6.x - rrdtool-1.0.40.x86distr.zip and try again.

  Hi dears,

  I was using MRTG, in Windows NT  with all service packs 
applied, and everything was fine.

  But I decided to install RRDTools and I am experiencing
some troubles, during the installation.

  I am following a good text (MRTG Implementation Manual, by Florim
Prunoiu). 

  When I try to run the: 

ppm install rrds.ppd

  I receive  a "error installing package 'rrds.ppd', but is
not intended for this build of Perl <MSWin32-x86-multi-
thread>"

  My Perl 5.6.1, was recently downloaded for activestate. It 
runs good with MRTG.

  RRDTool was downloaded this week from original site and
 it is the latest stable version (rrdtool-
1.0.40.x86distr.zip5.8)

  Could anyone give me some help.
