[mrtg] MRTG 2.9.27 graphing 4 GB/s

I am having some problems using MRTG to query a SonicWALL Pro/100 firewall and a netopia R5300 router. I am running MRTG 2.9.27 on a FreeBSD 4.7 machine with perl 5.005_03. The first problem that I notice with using this is that when I query the hosts, the graphs that show up are a flat line at about 4.4GB incoming. The values that I have below that are:

In:
  max 4295.0 MB/s (343597.4%)
  avg 4291.4 MB/s (343313.9%)
  current 2877.6 MB/s (230210.4%)
Out:
  max 0.0B/s (0.0%)
  avg -462589287858.... (-370e12%)
  current little less than avg

Since I am rather new to mrtg, i have no idea on what to do to try and fix it from here. Here is how i ran the cfg util:

cfgmaker --global 'WorkDir: /home/www' --output /home/www/mrtg.cfg sonicwall at w.x.y.z:::::2 router at w.x.y.z:::::1

the Netopia uses snmp v1 and I got a response using version 1 and 2 for the sonicwall.

Can anyone tell me (or help me) on how to fix this so that I get the correct values? I would really appreciate any help on this one. Thanks in advance.
