I'm using mrtg to query about 7,000 targets every five minutes, or 1,400 a
minute.
Average network traffic on my mrtg server is 65 kbps in, 40 kbps out. These
are both less than 0.1% of the fast ethernet speed. I doubt that the mrtg
traffic on your router or your server will be noticeable.

Subject: [mrtg] Basic question
Hello All,
I am new to MRTG.
I have configured MRTG and SNMP without problem.
I configured MRTG to get information on CISCO router.
My doubt is :
If i run MRTG in 1 min interval using cron will this choke the router
bandwidth.
What will be the normal packet size that MRTG receives from router regarding
its status.Whether it will cause network traffic
Adv Thanks
-Joe
