You installed the RPM didn't you ?

Install from the source and this problem goes away. You need to install the
GD package, as well as zlib and libpng.

I have seen a bunch of this recently, but I don't know how to "fix" the rpm
version.

I have a Redhat 7.3 server with MRTG 2.9.25-1.7.2 installed. We're trying to
use it for mailscanner-mrtg. I get the errors at the bottom in root's
mailbox when cron kicks off mailscanner-mrtg. 

Searching the archives showed one other thread for this problem, but I
didn't see a solution. Anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it?
