Are you sure you don't need a "." before the 2 instances?
(i.e .1.3.6.1.4.1.etc.etc.etc)

I would say that'd be a good thing to fix and then see what happens. You may 
also need to use the "LoadMIB" directive incase you need to inform MRTG of a 
MIB or 2.
