[mrtg] Alteons -- Speed set to 0?

I have a pair of Alteons doing load balancing of our web servers that I could like to monitor with MRTG; however, when I run cfgmaker against them, all the interfaces are commented out with reason "has a speed of 0 which makes no sense."  Since all the interfaces are commented out, it does me very little good to see an empty web page.  :-)

Has anyone seen this issue?  How can I get around this?  Any thoughts?

I found a few messages in the archive that pertain to this, but, when I click them, it takes me to a different thread.  Please forgive the ignorance.
