Assuming these are 10/100 ethernet ports there is usually
a device configuration setting to lock the speed per port.
I would suggest locking the speed (and duplex for that
matter) and see if that results in a config file with real
maximums.

}I have a pair of Alteons doing load balancing of our web
}servers that I could like to monitor with MRTG; however, when
}I run cfgmaker against them, all the interfaces are commented
}out with reason "has a speed of 0 which makes no sense."
}Since all the interfaces are commented out, it does me very
}little good to see an empty web page. :-)
}
}Has anyone seen this issue? How can I get around this? Any thoughts?
}
}I found a few messages in the archive that pertain to this,
}but, when I click them, it takes me to a different thread.
}Please forgive the ignorance.
}
}Thanks...
