RTFM. You need at least two, and no more than two, OIDs on the target line.

If you use one OID, mrtg will fail. If you use three OIDs, mrtg will fail.

Hello there 
I'm trying to monitor the temperature of a APC UPS battery, using a SNMP
walk tool I managed to get the name and the OID.
the OID is 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.2.0 and the name is
upsAdvBatteryTemperature.0
I created the following temp.CFG file

WorkDir: c:\mrtg-data\temp
runasdaemon:yes
interval:5
Target [upsAdvBatteryTemperature.0]:
1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.2.0:public at 10.0.1.128 

When I perl mrtg temp.cfg
it says

ERROR: Line 6 (Target [upsAdvBatteryTemperature.0]:
1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.2.
0:public at 10.0.1.128) in CFG file (temp.cfg)  does not make sense

I'm new to this, any ideas or places to look for a solutions?
