No, that is incorrect sir.

Depending on what you want to do.

Target[temp]: OID1&OID1:community at host + OID2&OID2:community at host +
OID3&OID3:community at host + OID4&OID4:community at host

Will add up OID1 + OID2 + OID3 + OID4
or

Target[temp]: OID1&OID2:community at host + OID3&OID4:community at host

Will add OID1 + OID3 and OID2 + OID4.

HTH!

Hi,
I want to add results by querying 2 OIDs and plotted as one vairable. My
syntax is

Target[temp]: OID1:community at host + OID2:community at host &
OID3:community at host + OID4:community at host

Is this the right syntax ?

However when I specify the OIDs as e.g. .1.3.6.1.4.x.x.x , then MRTG
probabaly doesn't understand these and sends the SNMP GET request using
other OIDs e.g. 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.1 etc (captured this using
Ethereal).
Any suggestions ?
