[mrtg] RRD on NT Questions

OK now that I have made the leap to test RRD on NT2000 I have a question.
First off it does poll the device faster. (rrd log files).

However, I noticed that when pulling up graphs in my browser that my server
processor is pegged at 100% while the browser is displaying the new png
files on the page. Every time I refresh this happens. What am I seeing?
