[mrtg] Monitoring 3Com SS 3300 switch

Hi!
I´ve been using MRTG for monitoring some Cisco Devices of a WAN, Routers 2600 an 3600 and a Pix 515 ani it works fine. T

Now I would like to monitor traffic for a lan. I have several 3Com 3300 switches, is it possible? I have no experience  configurating MRTG beyond, the basic process that solve my problem with the routers an Pix. 

Can anyone help me to do this task or anyone did it yet?
