all linux systems with snmpd installed have many MIBs already on
the system, the usual location is /usr/share/snmp/mibs

usually 50+ mib files there.

if all else fails try 'locate *MIB*'

if that fails then you can get them with the snmp package:
http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/

never used getif myself..but mibs are mibs as far as I know
