[mrtg] Major Problem with MRTG

We run mrtg to monitor bandwidth usage for a public sector firm and rely on
it heavily. Just recently, mrtg lost over a full years worth of graphing
data. The yearly graph just flatlines after about a month ago and we've
been graphing for some time now. If I check the log and log.old file, it
just shows 0 0 0 0 after a certain point...I'm not too sure how to read
that date/time stamp, but it seems like mrtg replaced all the real data with
0 0 0 0. Has anyone else seen this, or know how to fix it. Thanks very
much.
