It'll be a bit of a challenge to get WUG to verify MRTG status, since MRTG isn't a network-probeable service.

If you can find a way to have WUG load a page generated by MRTG AND verify that the file is not older than your polling interval (plus a margin for clock skew, etc.), then you'll be on the right track.

I would like to set up MRTG to run as a service so that I may use WhatsUp
