[mrtg] Graphing negative values.. again

Still working on it..

To recap, I'm graphing a value which fluctuates from about -15 to +15. I set the maxvalue to 50.

When the data was coming in, MRTG was not displaying anything below 0. It would graph values above 0.

I tried the following command to 'tune' the rrd files:

rrdtool tune */*.*.*.*+b.rrd -i ds0:-50 -a ds1:50

My rrd files that contain the information are in this format: ipaddress+b.rrd. 

This didn't appear to do anything, so I tried it specifying a file rather than using *.*.*.* - this provided some interesting results.

The graph still begins at 0 but its graphing a line BELOW the beginning of the graph. Below is exactly what is displayed.

Max dB  	 -9.4 dB  	 	Average dB  	 dB  	 		Current dB  	 dB
Max dB 	 -9.2 dB 		Average dB 	 -9.4 dB 		Current dB 	 dB


As you can see, some things are being filled in while others are not. (I'm graphing the same OID twice.)

Anyone have any ideas? I've tried deleting the .png files and having them regenerated, same problem. Note that only the file I specified by name works - when I did *.*.*.*+b.rrd I still get no data for anything below 0.
