I have seen a difference between version 8.00 and 8.01 when adding
alerts to multiple devices at once.  When I select a group of devices,
the drop down menu on v8.00 has an entry to 'Add alerts to selected
devices' and 8.01 forces you to choose properties.  In version 8.01 when
I add an alert to a group of devices via the properties dialog it
randomly (seemingly) decides to hose(make not work) services and SNMP
links that have been previously discovered.  It has moved interfaces
from one device to another.  It's almost like it just shuffles the deck
of cards and redistributes a bunch of services.  I have been able to
rediscover and go forward but why does this happen?

I haven't tested the hotfix yet, wish me luck.

Any thoughts?
