In Windows XP, you must turn on SNMP within Network Places for it to be
monitored.

I have a Windows 2000 PC with Perl v5.6.1 and MRTG 2.9.17 running fine for
over a year now. I am setting-up a new PC to use that has Windows XP Pro
installed. I have copied my .cfg files, .vbs scripts, .pl files, etc to the
new machine. The new machine has a static IP and I have added it to the
allowed hosts for all the devices. Everything appears to be identical
however, I keep getting errors similar to the following for all devices:
C:\mrtg-2.9.17\bin>perl mrtg mrtg-all.cfg
SNMP Error:

Does anyone have an idea of what I could have missed?
Thanks,
Charles
