[mrtg] AbsMax upper limit

I'm using the mailscan-mrtg to track sendmail stats through MRTG.  My problem is... there appears to be an upper limit for the AbsMax on BytesSent.  I placed the upper limit at 5000000000 bytes, but it appears to stop tracking data after 2160000000.  Am I missing something?  Or is there a built-in maximum AbsMax in MRTG??
