Thanks, this worked perfectly for me. Now I am running into another
problem. This config file has 11 interfaces listed in it, but when I do
a 

./indexmaker --title=MRTGplots --sort=name --enumerate test.cfg

There are only 5 interfaces in the output html file.

And no, they are not commented out. There's 6 that are. :)

Better yet try: (From the cfgmaker manual)

./cfgmaker --global 'WorkDir: /www/mrtg' --global 'Options[_]:
bits,growright' \   <-- \ needed
        --output=test.cfg public at 10.1.1.1 public at 10.1.2.1
public at 10.1.3.1
