[mrtg] memory leaks in mrtg-2.10.5 ??

Deal all
I was running mrtg-2.9.29 successfuly for a long time.
Today I have installed mrtg-2.10.5 because I need to ConversionCode feature.

However, since I have started using this new version, I am facing problems 
with the machine.
The load reaches over 80 (yes, eighty) and the machine is out of memory, then 
it crashes !!

Any one faced such troubles with this version ??

Redhat 7.3
Kernel: 2.4.20-20.7
perl: 5.6.1-34.99.6  (redhat)
