[mrtg] Error trying to run the mrtg-2.9.25

Hello Everybody,

I'm trying to install mrtg-2.9.25 under RED RAT 9.0 and the following
error
message appears when I try to run it:

Possible precedence problem on bitwise | operator at
/usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/../lib/mrtg2/BER.pm line 619.

I hope somebody can help me!!!!!!!!!!!!
