There's your answer.  15/300 is less than 1.

MRTG only does integers.  MRTG only does 5 minute (or greater) 
intervals.

So, try out the perminute option or some sort of multiplier or both.

Remember, MRTG was designed to display bytes (or bits) per second.

15 bytes passing through an interface in a 5 minute window is 
statistically insignificant.

Here is my config for a device I want to graph.  The integer returned is a
