[mrtg] how to update the graphs after 5min of interval

dear frds,
mrtg at my place is working ok.only problem i find with it is that every morning i need to put it on manually by givind command c:\mrtg-2.10.13\bin>perl mrtg mrtg.cfg even after loading free deamon.and secong thing i found that graphs is updating every 1min which i want to mak 5min.

kindly help me as i m new to mrtg software i m using it to monitor input and output of broad band traffic.
