Native MRTG will update the logfile and (using Rateup) create the graphs.
The MRTG/RRD combination works in two stages. MRTG updates the RRD log
file, and a viewer (such as Routers2.cgi) can be used to view the file.
You are asking for part of each.
If you can create your data in RRD format, then your problem is solved.
