Note also that if you are running this as a cron every 5 minutes, you cannot
use 'RunAsDaemon: Yes'. If you do, the daemon is still running in the
background with a lock file on your config when the next one attempts to
kick off.

Mark,

There is your answer. Has your config file got so big that it takes
more then 5 minutes to process it. Are you trying to process the config file
more then every 5 minutes?

When was the lock file created? If it was some time ago it might the
reminisce of a system crash and it can safely be deleted?

Pete

After looking at the MRTG log this is what it says.....

2004-12-15 20:48:10 -- ERROR: I guess another mrtg is running. A lockfile
(c:/mrtg/mrtg/bin/10.10.1.20.cfg_l)
aged 45 seconds is hanging around and I can't remove
it because another process is still using it. at
c:/mrtg/mrtg/bin/mrtg line 1419.
