[mrtg] Re: cfgmaker error

if you perform a command-line query, do you get any results?

vishnu% snmpwalk -c Canopy -v 2 192.168.1.5 1.3.6.1.2.1.1

here's what I get, for example, when i direct the same query at one of my
WAPs:

if you get something similar, then i'm stuck.  but if you get 'no
response', then i would guess that you are entering the community string
incorrectly ... or the SNMP agent on the device isn't functioning ... or
something between your MRTG box and your target device is blocking SNMP
packets ...
