it's me once again ...
now i tried to get the oid's for these 4 serial ports, so i tried the snmpwalk command and got the following numbers:
# 13.3.1.1.2.4 = "Serial1/0"
# 13.3.1.1.2.5 = "Serial1/1"
# 13.3.1.1.2.8 = "Serial2/0"
# 13.3.1.1.2.9 = "Serial2/1"
now i wrote Serial1/0 & Serial1/1 into the mrtg.cfg to look if it works:
# Target[izrz1.bmlv.gv.at]: 13.3.1.1.2.4&13.3.1.1.2.5:marilu at izrz01.bmlv.gv.at
but:
# cannot encode Object ID 13.3.1.1.2.4: first subid too big in Object ID 13.3.1.1.2.4 at /usr/bin/mrtg line 1607
# WARNING: skipping because at least the query for 13.3.1.1.2.4 on izrz01.bmlv.gv.at did not succeed
# ERROR: Target[izrz1.bmlv.gv.at][_IN_] ' $$target[1]{$mode} ' did not eval into defined data
# ERROR: Target[izrz1.bmlv.gv.at][_OUT_] ' $$target[1]{$mode} ' did not eval into defined data
# WARNING: Skipping Update of izrz1.bmlv.gv.at, inlast is not defined
# WARNING: Skipping Update of izrz1.bmlv.gv.at, outlast is not defined
what the f*** am i doing wrong ? :(
help ? ;-)
thanks,
markus
