[mrtg] Re: Cisco Memory Usage [Virus checked]

Hello,

i did some research with my Cisco 4700.

And he tells me via "show ver" this:

<<<cisco 4700 (R4K) processor (revision F) with 32768K/4096K bytes of
memory.>>>

What does it mean exactly? 32 MB RAM... and the other 4??... i´m confused.

And in addition i captured some values :

.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.5.1 = 2763328
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.5.2 = 2812644
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.6.1 = 21976540
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.6.2 = 1381660
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.7.1 = 21612628
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.7.2 = 1294356


And when i add the value from 5.1 to 6.1 i get 24739868 which is approx.
23,6 MB.
But where is the rest? 5.1 is used and 6.1 is free ram ... and the Rest?
I´m confused... plz help. I just want to show with mrtg how much memory is
used etc. And with the OID´s 5.1 and 6.1 i get nearly flatlines with the
values 2,65 MB and 20,94 MB.
