You might try using going to http://www.net-snmp.org/ they will have the
information you need to install this and run it on Solaris.

I'm trying to configure MRTG running on Win2k.  I've been able to pull 
statistics from remote Win2k servers using Perfmon but I have not had any 
success with my Solaris 9 box.  I've searched the web and haven't had any 
success in finding any info on the setup process.  If anyone could point me 
in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.
