Check your snmpd.conf IF you are running Linux box.

Try this one:
  snmpget your-agent community-string .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0

There is something wrong with your snmpd.conf(or agent's settings) 
if it doesn't work.


Would you care to provide these info?
+ What is your agent's OS/version?
+ What is your host's OS/version, which MRTG is running on?
+ What is your MRTG version?
