The script accepts "-t" option as timeout value.

A line from my working config file is like this:
  Target[ping-target]: `mrtg-ping-probe -k 3 -t 10 -s target`

But I'm not sure if it's really working, since the script sometimes
hungs up forever and requires force termination :)
# I'm currently using v2.3 of the script with a *little* modification,
