Not sure why I received a bounceback, but I tried to restart the daemon
and any configuration changes I did still did not take into effect.
This is what I've done:

Installed Perl and MRTG, used the following command in c:\mrtg\bin:
Step 1:	perl cfgmaker community at x.x.x.x --global "WorkDir: c:\mrtghtml"
--output router.cfg
Step 2:	perl mrtg router.cfg
Step 3:	Added this to router.cfg (which I'm confused, because this
actually works):
		RunAsDaemon: yes
		Interval: 5
Step 4:	Used indexmaker:
		perl indexmaker --output router.htm router.cfg

What I want to do is to have the graph grow from left to right, change
the title of the page to "Traffic Analysis for Serial0" for example.
And change from bytes to bits. I know it's a simple configuration, but
I can't seem to get it to update.

This is a snip of the router.cfg file:

# Created by
# cfgmaker lockit4u at 192.168.1.8 --global 'WorkDir: c:\mrtghtml' --output
router.cfg

RunAsDaemon: yes
Interval: 5

### Global Config Options

# for UNIX
# WorkDir: /home/http/mrtg

# or for NT
# WorkDir: c:\mrtgdata

### Global Defaults

# to get bits instead of bytes and graphs growing to the right
# Options[growright, bits]: growright, bits

EnableIPv6: no

Any changes that you make to the .cfg file will not take affect until
you
restart the mrtg services/daemon

Subject: [mrtg] Hello

Hello Group,

I'm new to this group and new to MRTG. I believe this is a great
product and look forward to implementing it on our network. I have some
questions regarding configuration and I've searched thru the archives
but could not find what I needed. If anyone has the time to email me, I
would appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

So far I've installed MRTG and I am able to see the graphs in the html
folder I directed it to. Instead of clicking on the html file each time
I want to see the graph, is there a way I can type in an url address in
my browser? Also, I've tried to edit the cfg file and it doesn't seem
to take into effect the changes.

I apologize if this seems very simple, but I'm kinda stumped.

Regards,

John
