I have a Cisco 2610XM with a 16 port analog modem network module. The modem ports are in an async group linked to the Loopback interface. I'm able to get MRTG to report the FastEthernet0/0 interface graph, but I can't get MRTG to report the Async interfaces' utilization (which I'm trying to do by description). Here is the important info from my .cfg file.

this is what the ./cfgmaker call gave me.

Target[IPADDRESS_Async33]:\Async33:$COMMUNITY@$IPADDRESS:
SetEnv[IPADDRESS_Async33]: MRTG_INT_IP="" MRTG_INT_DESCR="Async33"
MaxBytes[IPADDRESS_Async33]: 14375
Title[IPADDRESS_Async33]: Async33 - C2610XM_MP
PageTop[IPADDRESS_Async33]: <H1>C2610XM_MP</H1>
 <TABLE>

   <TR><TD>Description:</TD><TD>Async33  </TD></TR>
   <TR><TD>ifType:</TD>     <TD>ppp (23)</TD></TR>
   <TR><TD>ifName:</TD>     <TD>As33</TD></TR>
   <TR><TD>Max Speed:</TD>  <TD>115.0 kbits/s</TD></TR>
 </TABLE>

I got this code from Somix

Target[C2610XM_MP_util33]: \Async33:$COMMUNITY@$IPADDRESS
MaxBytes[C2610XM_MP_util33]: 14375
Options[C2610XM_MP_util33]: bits, unknaszero
Title[C2610XM_MP_util33]: C2610XM_MP Async33 Utilization
PageTop[C2610XM_MP_util33]: <H1>C2610XM_MP Async33 Utilization</H1>
YLegend[C2610XM_MP_util33]: Port Utilization
LegendI[C2610XM_MP_util33]: In
LegendO[C2610XM_MP_util33]: Out
Legend1[C2610XM_MP_util33]: Inbound Bits
Legend2[C2610XM_MP_util33]: Outbound Bits
Legend3[C2610XM_MP_util33]: INBOUND Max value per interval on graph
Legend4[C2610XM_MP_util33]: OUTBOUND Max value per interval on graph
Colours[C2610XM_MP_util33]: GREEN#00eb0c,BLUE#0000ff,GRAY#AAAAAA,VIOLET#ff00ff
WithPeak[C2610XM_MP_util33]: ymw

but that also doesn't work.
I'm trying to get the CPU utilization working via OIDs, but that's another post.

Cheers,
P
