Not seeing any direct explainantion as to what the ExtremeNetworks
enhancement for cfgmaker was, contributed by PeterWirdemo.
Can someone please advise? Thanks much
Also, before I try to take on scripting something for it: Has anyone tried
to deal with the interface speed=0 issue on inactive Extreme ports?
Ignoring operational status, etc., doesn't help.
Here is a sample of a up, vs down interface:
### Interface 7 >> Descr: 'RMON-Port-7-on-Unit-1' | Name: '1/7' | Ip: '' |
Eth: '' ###
Target[0.0.0.226_7]: 7:public at 0.0.0.226:
SetEnv[0.0.0.226_7]: MRTG_INT_IP="" MRTG_INT_DESCR="RMON-Port-7-on-Unit-1"
MaxBytes[0.0.0.226_7]: 12500000
Title[0.0.0.226_7]: Traffic Analysis for 7 -- edited-14-6
PageTop[0.0.0.226_7]: <H1>Traffic Analysis for 7 -- edited-14-6</H1>
<TABLE>
<TR><TD>System:</TD> <TD>edited-14-6 in rp2-2</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>Maintainer:</TD> <TD>edited edited 44370</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>Description:</TD><TD>RMON-Port-7-on-Unit-1 </TD></TR>
<TR><TD>ifType:</TD> <TD>ethernetCsmacd (6)</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>ifName:</TD> <TD>1/7</TD></TR>

</TABLE>
### Interface 8 >> Descr: 'RMON-Port-8-on-Unit-1' | Name: '1/8' | Ip: '' |
Eth: '' ###
### The following interface is commented out because:
### * it is operationally DOWN
### * has a speed of 0 which makes no sense
