[mrtg] SV: Portname on Cisco 6509

The description is of course set! But it's CatOS on the 6509. Does it
matter?

Do you mean the *description* field comes back unlabled? On all Cisco
equipment I have tried, cfgmaker will come back with the information you
have set on the Cisco for the description of each port.

Do a:

enable
conf t
int [whatever]
description Port 1 to somewhere
ctrl-Z

Then run cfgmaker. It should see "Port 1 to somewhere" as the description
for interface "whatever".

If you don't set the description the best you'll get from the switch is
the int0/1/2:3 type of response. It can't query info that the switch
doesn't have.
