[mrtg] Monitoring Multiple Switches - New Wrinkle

Hi, well, I went through and created config files for all my switches that I am trying to monitor.

Then I ran index maker, and checked the new MRTG webpage that was generated.

It's interesting.

The core switch is working perfectly - no glitches, everything labeled as it should be etc.

The next switch in line, everything is labeled correctly, but there are no graphs showing up

The next 2 switches, there are graphs that appear to be working fine, but no unit labels - the ports are correctly identified, but the name of the switch is missing

The last one, no labels or graphs.

I suspect that the missing labels are probably due to a mis-cofiguration at the switch, I can likely find that with a little digging, the missing graphs has me stumped, any ideas?

Also, it seems that either MRTG or NTOP is really dragging my system down. It's a P4HT box with 256 ram and 40 gig hdd running RHEL 3 WS. I don't know if this is normal or if I goofed something up (again)

Any help that any of you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Our switches are Foundry EdgeIron 4802 and 2402 and the core is a FastIron Edge 4802
