[mrtg] SV: RES: Portname on Cisco 6509

Well.. "set snmp ifalias" is not possible, it's not an option. Works it on
every version of CatOS? Any other idea?

Hi,

It seems CatOs doesn't provide description of the interfaces to SNMP.

Try to use "set snmp ifalias" for each interface that you want to
monitor.
And then get it by --ifref=name (or nr) and --ifdesc=alias
